About Me
"I have been interested in health and fitness for a long time, and it was martial arts that first gave me motivation to get in shape. I've cross trained in quite a few styles over the years but I'm currently getting into Doces Pares (Escrima) and I keep up my general fitness through weight training, bodyweight exercises, kettlebells and running.
I first experienced Sports Massage in a Thai Boxing camp in Koh Samui. Regular treatments kept me training and also helped me recover quickly from a sprained ankle. When I came back home I did much research into Sports Massage and decided to enrol at the London School of Sports Massage in Regents Park. This course provided the most in depth training for Sports Massage on offer and I was not disappointed.
Since qualifying I have worked in alongside Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and other therapists in several clinics before setting up Inline Health at the Sweatshop in Maidstone. As well as clinic based work I have offered pre/post event massage at events including London Triathlon, the London Marathon, and Sevenoaks Tri.
My interests in health and bodywork have led me on naturally to Osteopathy, in which I'm currently studying at the European School of Osteopathy."

About Me
"I started off as a dancer, studying at Middlesex University for a degree in Dance Science. The course included structural fitness with knowledge and practise of pilates and yoga among other focuses. We did this to understand how the body moved in dance, and how vital good posture and technique was for performance and injury prevention.
My interests developed as I wanted to help my colleagues with their injuries and I later enrolled at the North London School of Sports Massage where I received my professional diploma. Since then I have completed several other Continuing Professional Development courses.
I've been part of teams offering post event massage at the London Marathon, Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon and at the Mandy Ellen School of Dance.
I'm currently interested in running, aerobics, body combat and pilates."

About me
"My interest in physiotherapy stems from a passion for sport that started as a schoolboy, where I was a national standard sprint hurdler. I competed for Thames Valley Harriers (TVH) athletics club for over 16 years, and during that time can honestly say that I tried my hand at just about every track & field event going (!).I've also participated in a variety of other sports over the years from American Football through to Hang Gliding, to Olympic Distance Triathlons, and I believe that this experience gives me a unique perspective on the different demands placed on people's bodies by different sporting activities. My main sporting passions now are cycling and running, and I have a special interest in the practical application of the biomechanics of these disciplines in helping to diagnose and treat running and cycling related 'aches and pains'.
As well as working in private practice, I also work in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, where I am an accredited Clinical Educator for undergraduate physiotherapy students from Kings College London and the University of Brighton. This role also involves working in the local Accident & Emergency department, diagnosing and treating all manner of strains, sprains and broken bones!"

About Me
"From growing up in Norway on a farm with skiing enthusiastic family you get exposed to skiing from an early age. I started cross country skiing from when I could walk and continued until I was in my middle teens. From then I also stared downhill skiing- teleskiing and I still do that as much as I can do when I go home.
I always liked being outside and doing different activates so when I finished my A-levels in Norway I took a gap year and moved to the west coast of Norway and spend the year walking in mountains, sailing and skiing in the winter.
I was introduced to osteopathy via a family friend. I thought it sounded interesting that you learn so much from anatomy, pathology and different variety of techniques. She said that the best school was here in Maidstone at the European School of Osteopathy (ESO), especially for foreign students so then I had to move over here because there was no school in Norway to learn osteopathy. Before starting the course I did a massage and muscle stretching course in Stockholm to get a bit more experience before a started at the ESO. From early start in the course I knew that I wanted to work more within sports when I finished the course. That has not changed, but I have started a 1 year part time animal osteopathy course near Oxford."
